A seat for every guest

A counter is only good if every guest can pull up a seat. This site is built as plain, semantic HTML: real headings in order, alt text on every image that carries meaning, labels on controls, and text that scales with your browser settings instead of fighting them.

Color never works alone here — anything the palette says is also said in words — and the contrast of text against background is kept comfortably above WCAG AA levels. The menu works by keyboard: tab through it and nothing traps you.

We test with common screen readers and at strong zoom levels, but we are a small kitchen and we miss things. If any part of this site meets you badly — a control you cannot reach, an image that stays silent, text that fights your zoom — write to the chef and describe what happened. Accessibility notes go to the front of the queue.
